To be fair, it’s not completely silent, but on the first two settings it’s quiet enough that we don’t think about it. At full power you can hear it under a blanket, so that’s the one downside. Even so, the rumble is soft instead of buzzy, and the fit works well for us. The USB-C charging is simple and it’s survived a few trips without turning itself on.

I bought this for my husband after reading a bunch of reviews, and it arrived quickly in a plain outer box, which I appreciated. He said the ring felt snug at first and took a couple minutes to get placed, but once it was on it stayed exactly where we wanted. We’ve used it four or five times now, and the lower vibration settings are gentle without being weak. I’m taking one star off because the included charging cable is very short and the charging port on the ring itself is small enough that I worry about damaging it.

We’ve gone through a few rings over the years, and the Aile II is the first one my partner doesn’t complain about. The silicone feels thick without being stiff, so it stretches enough to be comfortable but doesn’t pinch. The vibration is more of a low rumble than a high buzz, which was a nice surprise at this price. Charging has been straightforward too—the cable actually stays connected, which hasn’t been true for other rechargeable toys we’ve tried. If I had one tiny gripe, the button placement takes a second to remember, but it’s not a dealbreaker.

Quiet, stays put, and the charge on this ring lasts longer than I expected.

After a month, I’m still torn on the Aile II. The silicone is genuinely soft, and the low vibration is pleasant and quiet, which I appreciate. But the ring is narrower than I expected, so getting it positioned takes more effort than it should. The button is also small and pretty hard to press once things get going. It’s well made—no rough seams or sharp edges—but I find myself skipping it unless we have extra time.
